Clayton Sleep Sponsors Topics and Case Studies in Advanced Pediatric Sleep Medicine April 21-22

ST. LOUIS (February 2012) –  Clayton Sleep Institute (CSI) sponsors Topics and Case Studies in Advanced Pediatric Sleep Medicine. Attendees will learn key diagnostic and therapeutic approaches and strategies for the practice of pediatric sleep medicine through personalized, one-to-one instruction from faculty who are national leaders in sleep medicine. The course will be led by course master Stephen H. Sheldon, D.O., F.A.A.P. and co-course master Joseph M. Ojile, M.D., D.A.B.S.M., F.C.C.P.

The conference is approved for 10.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™*.  By the end of the sessions, the learner will be able to obtain age-appropriate history and conduct an age appropriate physical examination.  They will also be able to establish a comprehensive differential diagnosis for the child who presents to the practitioner with problem sleeplessness, sleepiness and symptoms suggestive of parasomnias.  Attendees will learn how to create an appropriate environment for obtaining optimal data during polysomnography in infants and children and how to determine when comprehensive polysomnography is indicated in the pediatric population.
