Learn more about a clinical trial evaluating an investigational narcolepsy medication
The REST-ON clinical trial is now enrolling patients.
About the REST-ON clinical trial
REST-ON is a phase 3, placebo-controlled clinical trial evaluating an investigational sodium oxybate medicine for the once-nightly treatment of excessive daytime sleepiness and cataplexy due to narcolepsy. In this placebo-controlled trial, some participants will receive sodium oxybate, and some will receive a placebo (or inactive formulation). Testing both is important to the trial and for evaluating the impact of the new medication.
The clinical trial is designed to determine if the investigational drug is safe and effective in patients with narcolepsy. You should also know:
- To be eligible for participation, patients must be 16 years of age or older with a diagnosis of narcolepsy with cataplexy
- Your trial-related medical expenses will be covered and you may be compensated for your time and travel
- You will be under the care of a specialty medical team at no cost
By enrolling in the REST-ON clinical trial, you may have the opportunity to help develop a new potential treatment option.
