Nationally and internationally recognized physicians and scientists in sleep medicine are speakers and faculty for conference participants that include primary care physicians, specialty physicians such as pediatricians, cardiologists and pulmonologists, sleep specialists, psychologists, advanced practice nurses, respiratory therapists and polysomnographic technologists.

Is Updates accredited for continuing medical education?

The conference is planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and Policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME). Each year the topics and objectives are submitted for CME accreditation to appropriate and ACCME-approved institutions. USM also submits for continuing education accreditation for nurses, respiratory therapists and polysomnographic technologists.
